Wow! Dark Knight a gorgeous full Peruvian true black male out of two imports, 5Peruvian Camelot and 6Peruvian Gabriela. Dark Knight was named Grand Champion at the New York Empire Extravaganza 2002 against formidable competition. Judge Maggie Krieger announced that he is the epitome of what an alpaca should look like. His beautiful true black color and ultra fine, crimpy fiber are so difficult to find on a true black animal. Dark Knight has done a good job passing his color through to his ...

Isabella is that rare alpaca--a silver grey full Peruvian. She has a dainty feminine aspect from her topknot to her tail. She's got nice soft handle, good crimp and excellent conformation. To watch her move in the fields is like watching poetry in motion! She's just a delight to watch. Her Sire is the famous Peruvian Dark Knight and through her dams side she brings the wonderful C Peruvian Jaxon. Nice to see some of the Canadian Peruvian in our herd.

In fact, you may recognize this beauty! Isabella made her television debut on The View a few years back. She was incredibly poised and well behaved. I wish we could say we had something to do with that - but I think it's just in her genes. Funny note: One of the hosts of The View thought she looked like Liza Minelli....! (LOL)

Isabella's first cria, named Braveheart, was a beautiful boy from Snowmass Casanova. Her second cria is Rosehaven's Peruvian Silver Crown, born in july of 2008. That lil fella literally fell on his head (just as many cria do!), but when he got up he had a little silver streak across the top of his head. That mark remained while the rest of him slowly turned rose grey. He is truly a modern solid rose grey--except for that silver streak crowning his head!

This lady is a beautiful alpaca and great mom. Her genes would benefit any herd!

Isabella was the star on the View when Rob brought them there. She has done very well for us over the years and has given us one grey alpaca after another! her fleece is still excellent after all this time. She has a lovely temperment and has passed that on to all of her crias.

She has a dainty feminine aspect from her topknot to her tail. Except when she gets near the feed pail watch out!!! Her Sire is the famous Peruvian Dark Knight and through her dams side she brings the wonderful C Peruvian Jaxon. Nice to see some of the Canadian Peruvian in our herd. Isabella has given us great alpacas from a champion rose grey to a beautiful dark silver grey girl from Lancaster.

we will be breeding her this year to our Silver Grey Centaur for a 2017 birth. Stay tuned for that!
