Silver Spoon Basquiat

Silver Spoon Basquiat is a bit newer to the east coast having come from the breeding program of Jenny Jonak from Silver Spoon Alpacas. Bas is a silver grey champion from the famous Aussie Rockford. His dam is RomanceBas, who did very well in the ring on the west coast. She always ended up in the top 3 with the Crescent Moon boys and the top silver breeders out on the west coast.

He has thrown an exact duplicate of himself as a cria - when everyone thought he was white, deep down he was silver grey. His second cria was a dark bay with a fading fawn underbelly. The color was so rich and so different that we named the new cria (with Jenny's help!) Basquiat's Brulee!! His fleece ended up being dense and and of good structure.

So far it seems that Bas is throwing his exquisite dense and well structured consistent fleece to all his crias. The ones born this year are already showing promise! If you are looking for a silver who is throwing excellent fleece stop by and see Basquiat. It is doubtful you will be disappointed.
